SPIRIT - Time To Find 'You'


There are so many ways to describe Spirit. Some think it’s the same as our soul, for others it’s the Holy Spirit in Christianity, and for many people, it implies the ‘get-up-and-go’ aspect of a person’s personality. All of these are correct.

For many though, spirit means our inner-most being, our internal wisdom. It’s the essence of who we are. Our deepest sense of Self, including our dreams, aspirations, and desires.

Being connected to our spirit can lead to a deep sense of peace and serenity. But also, to a feeling of life-purpose and direction.

Strangely, many of us – probably the majority of people don’t take the time to pause our busy lives long enough to explore this part of our being. We probably feel it’s a bit woo-woo and hippyish…I know I did!

But it’s never too late and Midlife is a perfect time!

Spending time honestly thinking about what truly makes us happy…what brings us deep joy, and what we want to achieve in our time on this planet can be life-changing.

Exploring this aspect of ourselves will be different for all of us and can be quite confronting. It’s not easy to be brutally honest with ourselves. It can be scary to realize that we haven’t achieved what we had great plans for when we were younger.

Fundamentally, it’s just as critical to really explore our deepest ‘self’. To come to terms with what we really want from our lives…not just physically and emotionally, but at the deepest level. At our very core.

This is a Holistic way of living. Taking care of our Mind, Body AND Spirit will help us find the energy, peace-of-mind, and serenity that comes from feeling like we are ‘whole’. That we’re now truly in control of our life and can revel in the excitement of realising our dreams….especially if they’ve been on the back-burner for some time.
