BODY - Your Health Is Within Your Control
The definition of Health varies but generally, it’s considered to be a state of physical, mental, and social wellbeing – not just the absence of illness.
We actually have a huge level of control over all of the above, and although we don’t like to admit it, we all know that it requires eating healthily and doing some form of regular exercise.
But I know ‘stuff’ gets in the way…heck, menopause (and sometimes marriage) gets in the way!..
So, when we feel low, disillusioned, or just downright fed up with the direction our life has taken, attention to our physical health often takes a back seat.
But here’s the thing…
If you can make an effort to change your eating habits and incorporate even some moderate exercise, it has rewards far beyond making you look better. It lifts your mood, lightens the load (often-times literally), and makes dealing with other aspects of your life so much easier to tackle.
You’ll be proud of your efforts however small, which leads to a feeling of empowerment and being in control again. And small steps lead to bigger steps. Before you know it, it’s life-changing!
I know that banishing Midlife Blues isn’t simple, but this is one way to start along the path to reclaiming your Mojo, ready to take on the world again…on your terms.
